It is Newleaf in Fallen Star!!!

A mountain valley once knew peace, calmness. The four cat clans lived in harmony, by the warrior code and proud to the fullest. And they had a right to, for no cat had disturbed their loyalty to their clan, never had they been forced to be shamed by one of their Clan members. And so they lived like so for quite some time; but as we all know, this can never last. And it didn't. The four clans: MoonClan, SunClan, ForestClan, and StormClan split into twos as SunClan's new leader sought power and domination, joined by StormClan at their side. Chaos wravaged the Valley once, then all was quite for awhile...

But now it has started again. Same leader, same Clan. Almost like the whole thing was repeating itself. Now it comes to your spot in the story; who will you be like? Who will you join? And who will you serve? Come to kill, or be killed, no matter which side your on. That is what the Valley is depending on; it's fate is in your hands. Choose carefully, for one mistake would lead to doom...

Boneclaw continued to stalk his apprentice, instantly knowing when she lightened her steps, which made it harder for him to hear her, which meant he would have to probably start relying on his eyes more, which meant he would have to go closer. He stayed back for a bit, still stepping lightly as he stocked, but suddenly he stopped when he realized he lost track of where his apprentice had gotten to. He looked around, pressing himself low to the top of the wall, trying to spot his apprentice. For a moment he was beginning to think that he would never spot his apprentice until he peered towards the middle of the maze where he could just make out his apprentices pelt among the rocks. He decided that it was time to make his move, stalking extremely quietly closer and closer to his apprentice. He reached a distance to the side of his apprentice, which he knew she wouldn't be expecting, considering she was surrounded my walls. He crouched low and in a single long jump he pounced on his apprentice, claws sheathed, and careful not to leap directly on her, knowing that serious injury could result because of there size difference. Though his leap was not completely on target it was right where he wanted, though he hoped his apprentice wouldn't be stupid and move off to the side.

Brittlepaw, after a moment, knew that the scents started to mingle. She tossed that idea out to the wind (which there was none in here...um....) and started to slow down as she thought, ears sharp. She didn't hear anything behind her; which was not good, because her mentor was a rather large warrior, so his paws should've been making some noise. She decided to keep on going, her paws slightly lighter now, muscles and form calm but still alert.

Now she was starting to wonder what her mentor was going at. She turned a corner and peeked around- a dead end. Great. She backed up, jumped onto a ledge, over a short inner wall of the rock maze, and leaped down on the other side. This gave her a whole new perspective; she'd landed in a large circular area, one trail behind her probably leading to the entrance, two in front. She strained to listen, but couldn't hear anything, though she thought she heard pawsteps. She kept an ear out for the sound but continued down the left path, trusting her instincts this time to guide her instead of strategy. Until she figured something out, at least.

Boneclaw watched his apprentice enter the maze with eyes unclouded by any emotion. He waited where he stood for a few moments more, giving his apprentice a little time to make some kind of progress in the maze. When he finally began padding towards the entrance, deciding it was time to follow his apprentice he stopped as an idea came to his mind. He averted his course from the entrance and began heading for the wall of the maze. The high walls would pose a problem for an apprentice to climb out of, in fact the height walls caused many full grown warriors of average size a problem to climb out of, and one of the reasons the Rock Maze was the perfect training grounds. As for Boneclaw, being a cat of larger build and muscular mass, he was able to spring up onto the wall with hardly a problem, though he still couldn't clear the high leap completely which left him scrabbling up onto the wall for a moment.

A more intellectual cat probably would have used one of the near by trees, but Boneclaw was far from the brightest kit in the litter, but when it came to battle tactics Boneclaw was not mouse-brained. He knew that his apprentice was probably expecting him to attack from the ground, a sneak attack from behind or something along those lines, but Boneclaw was sure she would not expect him to attack from above, which would certainly teach his apprentice a valuable lesson.

Boneclaw then began to maneuver his way on the walls, heading in the same direction that he knew his apprentice had gone, though because the high walls of the maze blocked the wind no scent of his apprentice would be carried to his nose from inside the maze, which meant he had to rely on his sight, and ears. He knew that no wind moving through the maze would also cause a problem for his apprentice because any scent of a cat that may have gone through would probably be mingled with many other scents of cats, making it hard to follow one trail, let alone the chances of the trail being right. The inability for scents to be carried through the maze also worked in Boneclaw’s favor because it meant that his apprentice would not be able to scent him, which meant as long as he was light on his paws it would be impossible for his apprentice to detect him until he was attacking her. He continued his pursuit of his apprentice stopping as he heard his apprentices soft footsteps a head. He forced himself to slow down and stay back, not wanting to end the hunt quite yet, but rather wanting to draw things out.

"That's ok, I kind of get startled easily anyways..." Featherpaw meowed, her voice becoming very soft by the end of what she said as her eyes dropped to the ground. "I'm an apprentice, I'm training to become a medicine cat," she said proudly, and with an unusual confidence that surprised herself. Usually she was very shy and reserved, and very modest, but she had begun to realize that whenever she spoke of becoming a medicine cat she felt confident and proud, even if she was speaking to a stranger who might not even know what a medicine cat is.

Brittlepaw's eyes flicked over to her mentor sharply at the mention of him hunting her down in the maze. This would be the first time going through it; she wondered what he was planning on doing. But she just nodded and padded over to the entrance of the maze. She took a deep breath of the maze to find a barely stale scent of another cat there; a Sunclan warrior had been in there not long before now. She might be able to follow his/her scent. Without another mew, or any hesitation, she padded into the maze and quickly started to follow the trail.

The Lynx glanced back the way she'd come. She didn't recognize the name "Moonclan", but she guessed it was at the boarder over in that general direction. She took a whiff of the air, above the smell of the catnip by the apprentice's paws; she smelled a faint smell of catnip in the wind from that direction. She looked back down at her again to see that she looked slightly nervous. Whoops. "Sorry if I startled you," she apologized. She was sort of out of place here; ah well. "Clan life is different than the life that Lynx's live in. What is your ranking?" she inquired politelfully-curiously.

Icey: If Seabrook water tainted Stormclan and Sunclan water then they would glow in the dark.

Stormpelt:I'm sorry! I was just confusing you with...ummm...Dawnfeather, yeah thats it. I was stupidly confusing you with Dawnfeather, she's the ugly one, not you Honeystar, you're pretty.

Icey: You shouldn't have gone and said that with Boneclaw here.

Boneclaw: *stops purring and takes a step away from Dawnfeather, glaring at Stormcloud* What did you just say? *unsheathes his claws*

Stormpelt: Sorry Boneclaw but you don't scare me, and angry she-cat, now that scares me.

Flarepaw: And it should Stormpelt, it should.

Icey: OMG! Stormcloud has some sence!

Boneclaw: You're not going to let me attack are you?

Icey: Nope! Remember this is Annual annoy Darktide and Boneclaw Day. Not Annual let Boneclaw Attack Stormpelt Day.

Flarepaw: Can it be annual let Boneclaw Attack Stormpelt and Darktide Day? That would be funny to watch.

Icey: It probably would be, but annoying all of them is more fun.

Silver: This is all too wierd.

Featherpaw was walking along calmly, smelling nothing but catnip and not really paying attention to where she was going, except for the fact she knew she was going back towards camp. She almost jumped out of her fur at the sudden appearances of the lynx. She took a few ridged steps back, scared to death until she realized that that it was the same cat that had visited the camp earlier. She stopped her retreat and gently placed the catnip on the ground, not wanting to damage any of the leaves. "I found it a few tail lengths on this side of our boarder with Moonclan," she answered politely, sitting down and giving her chest fur a few nervous licks.

Amber: ...Seabrook?

Me: You dun wanna know.

Brittlepaw: *points to Boneclaw and Dawnfeather* Isn't that against the warrior code?

Honeystar: *glares*

Me: Not quick enough, Stormpelt.

Darktide: I would not be afraid of a puny mouse! Lynxs on the other hand...

Amber: *growls* What was that, runt?

Me: Oh, yea, like that was smooth.

The lynx had just come back from hunting-light, for she had eaten not that long ago, and was just getting something that wouldn't make her starving in the morning. She padded through the forest, fur sort of blending with her surroundings, when she came across the apprentice. She pushed through the underbrush right into the path of Featherpaw. She stopped and looked to her. "Didn't even notice you there," she rumbled in her deep voice, whiskers flicking slightly in amusement. "Catnip? Where'd you find it?" the lynx mentioned when she looked at the leaves in the apprentice's maw.
