Four Clans lived in peace in the mountain valley of Kaolia. Those clans, MoonClan, SunClan, StormClan, and ForestClan, kept to their own terrorities, and followed the warrior code perfectly. Nobody thought that the peace between them could be destroyed so quickly, so easily, and they were totally blinded to their surroundings.
But then the leader of SunClan suddenly died. The other three clans were quite surprised; even more so when the a warrior became Leader instead of the deputy, who died not long after his leader. But nobody was prepared for what happened at the next Gathering.
Once everyone had quieted, the old MoonClan leader was about to step forward but before he could, the SunClan leader did. His strong voice rang in the clearing as he announced, "The Valley now belongs to SunClan. Those who defy our leadership will die." Yowls of protest came from all three clans. But they left without sheding blood, as the warrior code enforced.
The day after was when the battle began. At first, all three clans protected themselves seperately from SunClan, though they took a beating because of it; SunClan was stronger than they had thought. But when ForestClan and MoonClan heard that SunClan had allied with StormClan, the other two clans joined together to fight off the two other clans.
One day, at one of the largest battles they had ever witnessed, the MoonClan's leader was killed; SunClan's lost a life. Every cat retreated to their clan, licking the wounds that had been inflicted upon them. For four moons, SunClan stayed silent and silent befell the valley.
But now the SunClan leader is stronger now and back, with revenge burned into his heart. StormClan has yet again allied with him, and ForestClan and MoonClan have allied as well. A full-out battle has yet to occur, but everyone expects it; and they see it rather close in the future.
